I googled the street and saw that it was close to where someone had lost their cat July25 2023. I contacted the owner and gave her the info and she connected. Boris was missing for a week. He was discovered locked in a holiday cottage less than 100 metres from our house. The house had been burgled and he must have wandered in and then been locked in when the door was boarded up. He never made a sound. The owner of the cottage came a week later to investigate and found him inside. He is thin but seems ok. I cannot reiterate enough checking of buildings. I never thought he would have wandered to this house.

She came back home, put an airtag on her to see where she heads off to since it is very unusual for her to leave home. I recommend to put an airtag on any pet.
