Late July is my best guess. Was not sure for quite awhile if this cat was lost. We have a cat corridor between homes and the park, there's always new cats around. It followed my neighbors cat, who comes for treats, to the back door over a month ago, and disappeared for days. Weeks before it let me pet it, looked healthy until I felt its bones. Cat is a grey black stripe tabby, green with turquoise eyes and very orange/red undercoat. I think it's an older cat. Friendly now, but haven't tried to pick the cat up, though it likes to head butt a lot! Sharp bones on its shoulders and I think if gains weight would be a fairly large cat. VERY hungry. Coming by daily in last week and building trust. Tried to follow the cat to see where it stays but the cat didn't like that and hid. Can't see a tattoo but has white ear hair. Always cleans itself after eating, likes soft food and kitten food as well as milk and cheese. Nice cat, I hope she gets home safe!

Neighbors recognized the cat, it is a 12 year old neutered male who had not lived in a neighborhood where he could go outside before. That and a new baby the cat did not adjust to...and a hungry seemingly homeless cat was the result! Cat had lost weight but is fine, he apparently was overweight and diabetic prior to deciding he was an outdoor kitty!
