Je savais que ce chat était identifié : il avait un "P" tatoué dans l’oreille.
La clinique vétérinaire comptait appeler son propriétaire ce matin, car hier soir, vers 22h, personne ne répondait…

Je revenais tout juste de vacances, quand je l’ai vu là… étendu au milieu de la rue.
Il venait d’être renversé par une voiture. Je n’ai rien pu faire.
Il a rendu son dernier souffle sous mes yeux, en l’espace d’une minute.
