Hello I was reunited with my cat Aurora and want to thank everyone who cared. I also wanted to let everyone know how I found her to maybe help others. I continued calling her name at my house and finally heard her meowing so I quickly went to were it was. I found her in my neighbors basement which she ran in when the hatchway was opened and was trapped for 2 days. I don’t know why I couldn’t hear her meow sooner as I was listening closely but am relieved I found her as she was without food or water and was extremely frightened when we opened the hatchway and I had to go down and grab her. So I hope everyone with a lost pet can learn from this and try to determine if they could somehow have been trapped somewhere and ask neighbors questions about recently having something open or anything else that may have led to a pets disappearance and I hope this helps someone someday. Let people know this!!
