STILL MISSING as of April 30, 2026.
He is missed very much!!!
I pray that he was picked up by a loving individual and is happy!
Could be anywhere in the USA now if picked up! Lost at I-55 south Coalfield rest area, north of Litchfield, IL, April 2023. He is a long haired orange and white, friendly, affectionate, nice male. He is loved very much, therefore is missed very much! We’re from Michigan. We have since returned to the area and have made numerous inquiries with people living near the rest stop and nearby businesses with no luck. He may have been picked up by another traveler, so he may be in a completely different state now.
(Original post 4/10/23)
I am posting for my cat that got loose from a vehicle at the I-55 south rest area, in Montgomery County, near Waggoner, IL, on 4/10/23 at around 5pm. He is my cat, but I live in central Michigan. He was taken without my knowledge. He was with my roommate who was traveling through when he escaped the vehicle. He eventually left, leaving the cat, continuing his travel. The cat’s name is Tigger. He is orange and white, long haired, neutered, and is microchipped. He is a very nice, friendly cat, but may be scared of the road noise from the expressway. My contact info is s_valasek@yahoo.com, and 248238-4073 (Scott). Please share this post/info with any people, groups/organizations that can possibly help!
Thank you very much.
We realize Tigger may be anywhere in the USA by now, being lost at a rest stop on the freeway, but are still keeping hope alive!
Love you Tigger!
