I may know where your cat is. I feed strays at the little shopping centre in Northmead where Hungry Jacks and Officeworks are, opposite the new Woolworths. There's a grey cat there that has been around for about the right amount of time and looks similar to your picture, although I haven't looked closely enough to know for sure.
